I was accustomed to doing everything by myself. My way, my systems, my processes.....but my team didn't know them. I did not know what tasks to give them, what project to delegate. Therefore, I did the majority of the work and let my team follow up with clients. CRAZINESS....I know.
Every small “win” was met with self criticism, self doubt, anxiety, and this deep feeling that the work would not be good enough.
Much of my work I gave away for free but that was crippling my business while it was growing all at the same time.
I worked 60 hour work weeks and spent many of those long hours in front of the screen without the cash flow to justify it. Painful “tears" on Brian's shoulder as I groaned for a mentor or consult to desperately help me succeed. I know success was coming right over the hill so I looked to the hills from which cometh my help...
Something was definitely wrong so I decided to revert to going behind the scenes and building the business that I wanted for other people that could pay at least $10,000 per month in an advertising budget.
Through it all, I still have a burning desire to the small entrepreneurs, the starts-ups, and mompreneurs setting up their businesses the RIGHT way. However, I never gave the time to do so. Since COVID-19, this has all changed and I realize life is too short and there are a lot of businesses that need my help.
